Als ich bei zwei der Drehtage dabei sein durfte, war ich völlig überwältigt von der Logistik und von den vielen vielen Menschen, die alle dazu beitragen, dass so ein Film überhaupt entsteht. Es war wirklich der Wahnsinn und ein Erlebnis, das ich nicht vergessen werde!

I’m very proud to have been part of the u-he team for the 3 days in April of 2016. It was great fun and we saw some very impressive performances including the very touching performance of Robert Lowe on the Eurorack.

An enthusiastic guy named Brian O’Sullivan climbs on top of the bar to address the congregation. “I’ve been doing this song for a few years, but I haven’t done it for a couple of years up on this counter. Am 3. März 2009 entschied das Bundesverfassungsgericht gegen den Einsatz von Wahlcomputern. Zu verdanken haben wir dieses Urteil Ulrich Wiesner und seinem Vater.
Bitte unbedingt auch diesen Podcast zum Thema “Wahlcomputer” anhören. Tim Pritlove und Ulrich Wiesner sprechen hier über die Probleme und es ist wichtig, dass wir alle wirklich verstehen, warum wir niemals, ich wiederhole: niemals dem Einsatz von Wahlcomputern zustimmen dürfen.

Regarding the section on piracy in the Animated Infographic article on Cultural Weekly:
I know all the wrong arguments surround piracy and how and why they are wrong and specious.
Except one argument: the one about being able to access the films at all.
If there was a simple way of paying to view current films that aren’t being released in my country at all (and a lot of what is being shown at Sundance falls into that category), I would take it. And I can not imagine, that removing the theaters, distributors and marketing from the cost side, that it would be more than 3 to 5 bucks to view the film at home.
As an industry insider, I would love to be able to at least virtually take part in Sundance, but I understand that this makes the IRL cinema world even less financially viable.
Complicated new world indeed.
