The spam in my mailbox has gone up fivefold over the past couple of month. But every now and then there is a gem under the constant barrage of screaming texts and I don’t want to spare you. This one tries to get to us men by implying that even a well respected person such as Bill Clinton not only used “Viogra” but that the main source of Mr. Clintons respect comes from the fact of having relations with his intern. What a nice twist.
Sometimes I feel like wanting to meet the authors behind those mails. I’m imagining some girl in her mid twenties in Russia writing it. It could also be some broker in Manhattan who uses his spare time to find out how long it takes till this message gets back to him.
Anyhow, I won’t spare you with the details, here it is:
Everybody knows the great sexual scandal known as “Clinton-Levinsky”.
After the relations like this Clintons popularity raised a lot!
It is a natural phenomenon, because Bill as a real man in order not to
shame himself when he was with Monica regularly used Voagra.
What happened you see. His political figure became more bright and more attractive.
It is very important for a man to be respected as a man!
Sometimes communication works really strange:
“I need some Flamenco guitar licks recorded”
“You know, the Flamenco guitar with all the rhythm and the Rumba is quite lively and such a strong and deep sound”
“Yes, but I don’t need the rhythm guitar, I just need some lead lines”
“Oh there is no one like Paco de Lucia when it comes to lead lines, he put the bar so high, no one can do it that way”
“I see, but can you just play some licks for me?”
“No, what you need is a studio musician”
“There are no studio musicians anymore thanks to the prograamming skills”
“Yeah, but no one makes money playing Flamenco, not even the Spanish guys where it came from”
“Ok, so I’ll keep my money and spend it programming”
“Yes, that sounds good”
So what went wrong in that conversation? I don’t know, but I think it has to do with listening. So really if you think about it communication is much more about listening than speaking. I’m going to try to remember that!
Interesting:
Makes me wonder, what it was why I started what I’m doing. I guess because I love sound and rhythm and melody. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that that’s why I got into this business in the first place. Back when it wasn’t a business for me but just something that felt like home.

On a side note, I now have a new computer that finally allows for maximum multi tasking, not like the laptop that just couldn’t handle the music software and all the other gizmos that make life a little more interesting.
The last couple of days were quite weird with all the agitation about those silly cartoons, giving them more than they are actually worth. It makes me wonder why this happens right now? Is there something that we’re overlooking?
Along those lines I have just discovered this and it makes me nervouse albeit I think, that the people that actually use the internet constructively will always find a way around limitiations. After all you can’t really control free exchagen in the long run. People won’t stand for it after a certain point.
