Auf folgenden Artikel möchte ich gerne mit einem offenen Brief an Herrn Gorny reagieren:
Sehr geehrter Herr Gorny,
sie werden an dieser Stelle mit folgenden Worten zitiert:
“Die Verwertungsgesellschaften sind Vereine, die von den Künstlern selbst ins Leben gerufen wurden.” Aus einem einfachen Grund, wie Gorny betont: „Sie möchten für ihre kreative Arbeit fair bezahlt zu werden.“
Meiner Meinung nach hängt die Gründung der GEMA zwar schon mit fairer Bezahlung zusammen, aber wenn man weiß, wie unser Wirtschaftssystem funktioniert, dann wird einem auch schnell klar, dass die GEMA vor allem dazu da ist, die Rechte der Komponisten zu bündeln, da diese dann eine viel stärkere Position haben. Der Zusammenschluss zur GEMA fand also letztlich vor allem deshalb statt, weil man als Einzelkämpfer noch weiter untergeht.
Dieser Unterschied ist aber in der öffentlichen Darstellung natürlich ein ganz gewaltiger. In ihrer Darstellung der Sichtweise geht’s um Bezahlung, in meiner geht’s um Solidarität und Stärkung der Position von Künstlern.

Give it a few years and the cpu will be abolished …all that will be in your box-o-tricks is a gpu to process the image. All the software from your OS, spreadsheet/word type and games will be in the cloud and you will be paying THEM to use it …upfront and monthly. Your information will become their information and you will be paying monthly to rent it back. No connection? Not paid your subscription? Tough…adios! You’ve ceased to exsist mate! More to the point, without payment and/or the squeaky clean credit certified means to pay ….you won’t ever have exsisted!
