The reason click-based media doesn’t work

is right in this screenshot: We have one “influencer” giving me his list of 10 reasons and another giving me his 4 reasons on why to quit my job in 2014. Couple of things wrong with this: a) I don’t have a “job”. I’m a freelance composer and it’s _extremely_ difficult for me to do anything else at this point in my life except develop my own business opportunities and markets. b) why in the world would I be interested in anyones “top” list if I don’t have a reference point for their track record? It doesn’t make any sense. c) at this point in my internet life I’m very much fed up with getting suckered into clicking something. Period. In conclusion: we need the good media to throw up paywalls so we can have them working for (!) us, helping us, curating information etc. Of course they will have to do a damn fine job at it. And the rest of the bunch can go fight it out with the celebrity gossip people. And all I need is a working filter to not see their spammy content. Thank you.
