Worldcup Blog – Day 3

Ok, I know, it’s been more than three days, but I do have a life beside writing posts in here.

So, what is there to say? After watching most of the games it’s like it always is: the top teams aren’t as strong as they thought and the newcomers fight their a**es off! Which makes everything interesting for the viewer.

Switzerland held their own against France, although the french weren’t really that dangerous.

On the other hand Croatia had a real shot at defeating Brazil except that the strikers just weren’t up to the task. But they fought, and they didn’t look bad. On the contrary they made Brazil look like a bunch of lazy men (fat too in the case of Ronaldo… his time seems finished!).

And today: Germany – Poland, which for Poland is already a Final because they sort of _have_ to win to make it to the next round. But of course this is the case where I can’t be with the underdog… I really hope Germany drives it home and is safely qulalified for the next round.
