Lately I have the feeling my life is getting less and less linear, I read articles on free press, read about audio equipment, read cartoons, read more and more blogs I subscribed to of other people all within a small time frame I give myself in the morning. Sometimes I don’t even remember what I read about and esp. what I was going to do with the new information. I am starting to wonder whether this sort of information-intake-chaos or IIC as I like to call it is doing good, bad or anything? Ahhh.. I don’t know, who cares really?<\/p>\n
What got me started to jot down my own personal thoughts is that scandal with the Danish newspaper printing cartoons of the prophet Mohammed which resulted in an unbelievable information war between fundamentalist (!) muslims and the western culture of free speech. How are we going to close that gap without giving up on free speech? It’s a weird thing, we’ll see.<\/p>\n
On a lighter note: I had some tea in my thermos from last night and it was still warm this morning. That thermos has a sticker with one of my best friends name on it (Stefan, I’m sorry!) which means I probably borrowed it and forgot to return it, or he perhaps stored it at my place.
